The Social committee of your Orillia Tennis Club has put together a new and fun tennis tournament TRIPLETS TENNIS. You read that correctly folks, TRIPLETS… .three on the court/ side.

Here’s How to Play:

Enter with teams of three (or fourth person will rotate in) OR sign up as a single and we will place you on a team.
Min One Female, one Male
Three people on each end of the court at the same time, full doubles court
- one at service line (side), two at the baseline to start
Spin for 1^st serve
Server serves the ball cross court as normal and continues to serve from the deuce court on each point until their team loses a point (server only serves from the deuce court)
ONE serve only (this evens the playing field)
Win a point on every serve
When you lose a point, you rotate clockwise
Serving team continues in the same positions (same server) until they lose a point
Players at baseline can come in at any time, players move on the court as they wish during play

Three on a court requires timing, communication and a sense of fun.

Max 48 players – 16 teams

Consolation round and championship round

Guaranteed 2 matches

$10 per person

8:30 am warmup and demonstration

9:00 am 1^st round

9:30 am (approx.) 2^nd round start

More Game Play Details:

Play to 11 points, win by 2. If tied at 15-15, sudden death.
Championship and Consolation Round
Teams will be seeded to begin the tournament
Wear a costume or come up with your own theme for prizes, matching attire does count
